...Hungarian Acdemy of Sciences in Debrecen, University of Debrecen Faculty of Music and the Foundation for the Art of Future host a conference on the 2nd of March, 2018.
We warmly invite you to take part in the conference, which is focused on Art and Education – Education of the Art.
The conference allows researchers of music pedagogy, performing artists, and teachers to engage in professional discourse, gain insight into the latest research, and join in its discussion. We find it highly important to present our new findings to a wide segment of society, so that as many people as possible may become familiar with the most advantageous social, economic, mental, and labour market effects of music learning.
We invite presentations on the following subjects:
- International comparisons in music pedagogy
- Traditions and alternative methods in music education
- The present and future perspectives of art education
- Interdisciplinarity and multidisciplinarity in music education
- Methodology research in the new music pedagogy
- Music preference formation, the pedagogy of listening to music
- Digital revolution in music education
- The role of music pedagogy in art education and in a healthy lifestyle
- The results of music pedagogy in the complex art education
Conference language is Hungarian and English, paper presentations last 15 – 20 minutes, plus some time for questions.

The registration fee: 50 Euro, includes the conference pack and programme, Lunch, coffee, snacks during coffee breaks. The registration fee does not include the cost of hotel.
